📅 3-day bootcamp

Never miss
anything again.

Your memory is broken. That's not an insult — it's neuroscience. The fix is a phone, 10 seconds, and one rule. No willpower required.

10 min total 📱 Mobile-first 🪞 Phone + PC sync 🧠 Zero memorization

The 10-second rule

Every time someone says "let's hang Tuesday at 4" — you have 10 seconds to put it in your calendar. Not later. Not tonight. Ten. Seconds. Phone does the remembering. Your brain forgets. Show up anyway.

1

Cue

Someone says "let's ___."

2

Open phone within 10 sec

Phone reminds you 30 min before

Day 1

Your phone is your brain now

"Why you can't stop missing appointments — and the 60-second fix."

Every commitment goes into Google Calendar within 10 seconds of hearing it. Add three real upcoming things today.

  1. Download the Google Calendar app (orange icon, free) and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Tap the big + button. Add 3 real upcoming things — class, dinner with a friend, anything.
  3. For each one: set the time, fill the location, and turn on notification 30 minutes before.
  4. Make the event title specific: not "thing" — write "Study group w/ Sara, library."
  5. Screenshot the calendar with those 3 events visible.
What good looks like: 3 real events on the calendar, notifications on, location filled in.
Day 2

Mirror magic

"What if your laptop automatically knew — without typing it twice?"

Google Calendar syncs in real time across every device on the same Google account. Phone is primary. PC, iPad, Mac — all mirrors. Add it once → shows everywhere.

  1. On the PC or laptop, open calendar.google.com in Chrome.
  2. Sign in with the same Google account as the phone.
  3. Verify: do the 3 events from Day 1 show up here? (They will.)
  4. From the PC, add ONE new event — any test event.
  5. Pick up the phone. That new event should appear within 5 seconds.
  6. Mac bonus: System Settings → Internet Accounts → Add Google → toggle Calendar on. Events now show in the menu-bar clock dropdown.
What good looks like: Events visible on both phone and PC, and a new event added on PC appears on phone within 5 seconds.
Day 3

The home-screen anchor

"The trick fits in one rule. The 10-second rule."

Put the Google Calendar widget on your home screen so it greets you every time you unlock. The 10-second rule becomes automatic.

  1. Add the Google Calendar widget to your phone home screen.
    • 📱 iPhone: long-press home screen → tap + → search "Google Calendar" → pick the medium widget (shows next 3 events)
    • 🤖 Android: long-press home screen → Widgets → Google Calendar → drag to home
  2. Set default notification for new events to 30 min before (Settings → Notifications in the app).
  3. Stack the habit: unlock phone → glance at widget. That's it. 2 seconds.
What good looks like: Calendar widget visible on your home screen. Open the phone tomorrow morning and you'll see it.

The four things you'll say (and the answers)

  1. "I'll just remember." → Cool. Brain test: when's your dentist appointment? …See?
  2. "Notifications are annoying." → Then only calendar notifications are on. Everything else stays off.
  3. "I don't have anything to add." → Add a friend's birthday. Add a TV show. Add "shower." Practice on fake stuff before real stuff slips through.
  4. "This is for old people." → Surgeons, pilots, and CEOs all use calendars. This is the adult skill. You're just early.

One-line pitch

Put your life in your phone. Phone tells you where to be. You show up. Done. 🎯
